Shut Up And Take My Money!

There are SO many fun things you can buy on the Internet. I’m sure a lot of it is just for the novelty of it and doesn’t get used that much. Gag gifts, decorations that sit on the shelf for a while before going into the Salvation Army box, weird shoes that aren’t comfortable AT ALL but you just HAD to get them…unlike my Puking Kitty Gravy Boat that I DID USE one Thanksgiving, just because I had to do it. It now looks at me from the China cabinet because I promised I would never use it for that purpose again…BUT I DIGRESS…

Bedside table/pet bed combo

NO PET WILL USE THIS!! But it’s SO CUTE!! Our dog Molly did sleep in her basket, as did my parent’s dog Renee in hers…but I’ve NEVER had a cat that has complied with a special basket/bed/whatever that has been lovingly provided. Unless maybe you had a delicate crystal figuring resting in it that you didn’t want destroyed…then the cat would definitely lay on it and destroy it. Amazon has these. Depending on the size you want, they run from $260-$500.

Jack Torrance sculpture from The Shining

I would SO want this on a couple of shelves amongst my books. This might go on my wish list on Amazon. $22.

Homer Simpson sponge holder

I would love this by the kitchen sink. $20 from Etsy is way too much to spend, though. But if someone were to give it to me, I would be VERY appreciative…

One More Chapter/Go To Bed coin

This is cute as all get-out. It’s supposed to help you decide if you want to keep reading “one more chapter” or put the book down, turn off the light and go to sleep! But serious readers know this is ridiculous…we’re going to read until dawn or our eyeballs fall out or whatever…$15 from a company called Out Of Print.

Coin Stealer Cat Bank

I have threatened to get one of these for years. This will go on my Amazon wish list as well. $13.

Dinner Decision Dice

These are available at several places online. I think Etsy had the best price at about $13. But it would be so easy to just take a regular kid’s block and put the choices on the sides. The one I saw had Burgers, Tacos, Chinese, Chicken, Subs and Pizza. Cute idea.
