I Must Say (2014) by Martin Short

Autobiography. Really enjoyed this. I’ve always been a fan, and he is a very good writer. Not a kiss-and-tell, but a real heartfelt account.

Emily travels to Sicily to rescue Farrell and meets a young female CIA agent. They contend with thieves, the Mafia and assorted ne’er-do-wells. There’s even romance!

Priscilla becomes concerned that her elderly neighbor is the victim of elder abuse. Her new young friend Harper has come to the island to search for her birth family. There is evidence that cigarette smugglers are nearby.

Stealing Santa (2017) by Elizabeth Adams

There is a thief hitting local businesses dressed as Santa. Jan and Elaine thwart the thief when he breaks in the tea shop. Jan goes on a diet to lose weight for when Bob comes to visit for the holidays.

Family Secrets (2018) by Becky Melby

A new Guideposts series, Secrets of Wayfarers Inn. LuAnn, Trudy & Janice buy the Wayfarers Inn to turn into a B&B and soup café. They discover a tunnel that was used by the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. Someone tries to discourage the sale of the Inn to them by making them think it’s haunted.
