Peeps and Blessings

 

I have the BEST peeps in the world! This latest round of ill health has really knocked me for a loop. When I finally broke down and admitted it and asked for prayers, the response was humbling. I love my peeps. I had so much support from all of you. And I know it was that along with the prayers from you all and the ones from church friends and others that got me through it all. God is good!

 

There were also a lot of blessings along with this. Yes, I was very ill. But I had the blessing of having Marv here the whole time. If he had still been working, things would have been much worse. I knew I was being taken care of. I had the “luxury” of being able to just forget about everything and stay in my recliner and watch Perry Mason reruns.

 

The biggest blessing, though, was the fact that I was NOT depressed or in despair. I have a tendency to go to the dark places when I’m sick. This time it was only physical. My mental outlook was just fine.

 

So mega thanks to everybody in my life. Friends are a true blessing. ♥
