He Sees Each Tear That Falls

Since our granddaughter Emma’s passing at the age of 22 days, I haven’t felt much like writing anything. Certainly nothing amusing. Our Christian faith lets us know that we will see Emma again one day. All of our loved ones who have passed before us will be there, too. And while that is a hope to cling to, the pain remains. But our strength is in the Lord. Emma Skye is safely in our Father’s loving arms.

I found this anonymous quote that pretty much says it all:

"Grief never ends…but it changes.
It’s a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…
It is the price of love."

Hug your loved ones. Go ahead and even hug your liked ones! You will all feel better by it. And if you can manage a smile for those you don’t particularly care for…good for you!
